Happy Thursday, Friends...
What a launch week! We had a blast with you at Tribeca — and on the app. Thank you for your enthusiasm, launch posts, and ideas. We’re just getting started!
Haven’t seen the new app yet? Check out your new mobile portfolio! Check your inbox for an email from “Portrait Onboarding” for your personalized link.

“The Documentary Film Industry is in Crisis”
If you read one thing this weekend: Make it this in-depth article on the toll of the filmmaking process on mental health. Send a note of thanks to the Portrait people featured in the piece, including editor Alexis Johnson, cinematographer Jenni Morello, and D-Word founder Doug Bloch.
Streaming Premieres: Weird and Wonderful Edition
Corporate absurdity: Check out this piece on new series “Fired on Mars,” which “restores ’90s aesthetics and an anti-corporate attitude to adult animation.” Congrats to Alexandra Johnstone, a writer for the Simpsons-like show.
Oddball hijinks: Season 3 of "I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson" is now on Netflix with more misadventures and amazing music. Featuring music supervision by Andrew Gross for the third season in a row. Congrats to Andrew, Gil Talmi, and the team at Konsonant Music.
Seen and Heard, from Sheffield to Brooklyn
In Variety: “On The Line: The Richard Williams Story,” which has its world premiere at the Sheffield DocFest this tomorrow. From Kadri Koop, the film’s cinematographer, on the app: “Would love to see any Portrait friends in attendance! DM me if you are headed there.”
